I love fun places like this. This place is very clean! I had an issue with my ticket balance on my card and they resolved it quickly. Didn’t act funny at all.
Yesterday Sunday 19th of November I went to Main Event in Webster with my family of 9. I asked the front desk for the best deal to buy credit for the arcade games and quickly saw the advertisement to my left that said that for the purchase of a gift card you would win X amount of free credit. Based on that I decided to purchase the 75 dollar card. The employees didn't know how they were supposed to give me the 30 dollar credit so they ask some people and gave me 3 other cards, each one allegedly containing 10 dollars that I was supposed to activate at the totem in the arcade area. After many unsuccessful attempts trying to activate those cards I finally went back to the front desk to get that taken care of, while my family was playing with the 75 dollar gift card. The employees didn't know what to do so they called a manager who told me that there was nothing I could do because the promotion applied from a later date (I believe he said January). I explained him that nobody was capable of informing about that huge caveat, so he offered me a refund if I could bring the unused gift card which of course wasn't a possibility any more. I asked him to show me where it was described that the promotional credit wouldn't be accessible at the time of purchase and he wasn't able to show me anything, he just said "it's in the small print" but the advertisement inside the store that lead me to make the purchase had no small print, not even an asterisk suggesting that there might be a final print. He escalated the situation and didn't offer me any solutions, to which I started recording him and his aggressive tone of voice to protect myself in any events, I informed him that he was being recorded and I would try to find a solution to this problem and he immediately said that I couldn't record him and that I was supposed to erase the video. He, in a threatening way said that I was supposed to show him that I erased it, to which I left. This kind of behaviors shouldn't be accepted in a place that is supposed to provide entertainment. It stressed me and took time from being with my family. I will supply you with the name of the staff member, and if required, with the video of the incident, but I want a solution for this.
Place is by far the worst place to go to. Nasty restrooms, games that take your money and don't work..
This place is kind of hit or miss for me. I love the laser tag! Bar service wasn’t great last time I went in August. Waitresses never came to take our orders for party of 15. We had to get up and order at the bar whenever we needed service. The billiards area is nice and roomy. I get great service whenever I’m bowling.
It was great visit but they shouldn't have the whole bowling in repair because that's what people come in for. Also they need to upgrade the menu like more tasty adult food.
